u.s. open 9 ball championships
The U.S. Open 9-Ball Championships is one of the most prestigious pool tournaments in the world, held annually in Virgina. As part of a larger promotional campaign for Accu-Stats Video Productions (the broadcasting company that owns the event), me and the crew at On The Wire Creative Media created a large-scale social media marketing campaign that has reached tens of thousands of pool fans around the world to attend, spectate, or view online the 2016 Open. Starting with print collateral designed by me, we focused our efforts in social media advertising & marketing. The driving force behind the campaign was our focus on the past champions of the event. I laid out several iterations of the main flyer to suit Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, as well as some e-mail marketing. I also created 25 commemorative images of the past champions for fans to share & remember the old days.
